R.I. expected to OK takeover of VMA
PROVIDENCE – Principal players in the R.I. Convention Center Authority’s expected takeover of the Veterans Memorial Auditorium say the change would benefit the city and the state, and give theater and convention attendees another venue in downtown Providence. A state panel is to weigh the plan tomorrow.
