Energy prices expected to rise again in ’09

WASHINGTON – The price of crude oil is expected to average $126 per barrel in 2009, a 9.2-percent increase from this year’s predicted $116 per barrel average, according to the latest forecast from U.S. Department of Energy analysts. Gasoline, diesel and home heating costs also are expected to rise.
