BofA to eliminate up to 35,000 jobs
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Bank of America Corp. (NYSE: BAC) is working on a plan to eliminate between 30,000 and 35,000 jobs over the next three years, in response to both the weak economy and its desire to achieve savings after its merger with Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.
