Facebook Offers A Look Into Usage Stats
Facebook has updated its user statistics, which show that its total number of users is up to 140 million. Half of them are outside of college (which is significant considering the network's roots), and the fastest growing demographic is 25 and older.

R.I. Foundation sets grant record
PROVIDENCE – Despite record unemployment and a worsening economy, The Rhode Island Foundation this year awarded $27 million in grants, the most in the 93-year-old organization’s history. And it recorded more than $40 million in donor contributions, also a record, thanks to donors President and CEO Neil D. Steinberg called “wonderfully generous.”
