Carcieri: Force National Grid to buy renewable energy
PROVIDENCE – Gov. Donald L. Carcieri today called on the R.I. Public Utilities Commission to force National Grid, the state’s major power company, to sign long-term contracts to buy electricity from renewable energy generators.
