Ch. 6 to extend early-morning news show

PROVIDENCE – WLNE-TV ABC Channel 6 today announced it will be launching the region’s only 7 a.m. live local newscast, beginning Monday, Sept. 29, exclusively on the station’s 24/7 cable news channel: Cox Channel 5.
