A local media personality who said he was fired to make way for controversial talk show host John DePetro is offering to pay for a lie-detector test so the embattled WPRO-AM personality can prove he had nothing to do with fraudulent Arbitron Inc. diaries that led to a revision in spring ratings for the Providence-Warwick-Pawtucket market.
